The Toy

François Perrin (Pierre Richard) is a journalist who needs money and won't walk away from his job at a newspaper. So when Eric (Fabrice Greco), the young son of the paper's owner Pierre Rambal-Cochet (Michel Bouquet), picks him out in a department store as the toy he wants, François says yes. Francis Veber sets a lonely boy and a grown man hired to keep him company in the same big house, and they slowly become friends.
