The Tracey Fragments

“Something's Missing...”

Tracey Berkowitz (Elliot Page), fifteen and friendless at school, wants two things: Billy Zero, the new kid she has decided is her boyfriend, and her nine-year-old brother Sonny back. Sonny is gone, and she rides the city in a bus-seat shower curtain, piecing together her overbearing parents and the day he disappeared. Bruce McDonald splits the screen into shifting panels of overlapping, out-of-order images, so the story reaches us the way her memory does.
