The Train Robbers

“The gold or the grave. The young widow could lead them to either.”

Somewhere in the Mexican desert sits a stash of gold that Mrs. Lowe (Ann-Margret) says her late husband stole from a train. She hires Lane (John Wayne), a gunhand, to find it, so she can hand it back and clear the family name. Burt Kennedy sends Lane and his old partners, Grady (Rod Taylor) and Jesse (Ben Johnson), across the dry country, and the widow's good name depends on getting there before Calhoun (Christopher George).
