The Traitor

“The true story about the man who brought down the Mafia”

Tommaso Buscetta (Pierfrancesco Favino) is a Mafia member in Palermo who, in 1980, takes his family to Brazil to get away from the war between the Sicilian clans. Misfortune forces him back to Italy, where he makes a decision that will change his life and the course of Cosa Nostra. Marco Bellocchio builds the film around the investigation, with Giovanni Falcone (Fausto Russo Alesi) across the table, and gives the procedure room to run.
