The Treacherous

“A tyrant king, a treacherous subject, and a woman seeking revenge.”

Joseon's tyrant king, Prince Yeonsan (Kim Kang-woo), takes what he likes from the populace, and somehow the court does nothing to stop him. The answer sits in the man standing at his shoulder, Im Sung-jae (Ju Ji-hoon), a retainer who looks loyal and quietly steers the king and every dealing in the palace. Min Kyu-dong follows Sung-jae as a woman seeking vengeance enters his orbit, and he keeps his hold on the throne.
