The Treasure

Costi (Toma Cuzin) is a family man in Romania who could use a little more money, and his cash-strapped neighbor knows it. The neighbor proposes they dig for a fortune said to be buried on the grounds of his family's country home, and split whatever they find. Corneliu Porumboiu sets the whole arrangement against Costi's ordinary life, so every shovelful puts a quiet household at risk.
