The Truman Show

“On the air. Unaware.”

Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) wakes in a seaside suburb and goes about his day: driving to work, greeting neighbors, avoiding water. The people around him, including his wife Meryl (Laura Linney) and best friend Marlon (Noah Emmerich), are actors paid to keep him contained. What matters in the end is whether those people let him go.
