The Truman Show

“On the air. Unaware.”

Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey), an insurance salesman in a spotless seaside town, starts noticing small things that do not add up, and begins to suspect that his whole life is being staged for a vast unseen audience. Peter Weir has Christof (Ed Harris), the show's creator, watching from above while Meryl (Laura Linney) and Marlon (Noah Emmerich) keep smiling on cue. Truman's one real tie is to Lauren (Natascha McElhone), the woman he has never been able to forget.
