“Bad cops make the best criminals”

In a dry, sun-flattened Las Vegas, Jim Stone (Nicolas Cage) and David Waters (Elijah Wood) work evidence control for the police department. A drug invasion leads them to a bank vault nobody was supposed to find, and the two cops start digging. Alex and Ben Brewer follow Jim, a man whose badge and bad habits have long since run together, and he cannot leave the vault alone.
