The Truth About Cats & Dogs

“Brian's about to discover the woman he loves isn't the woman he loves.”

Abby (Janeane Garofalo) is a veterinarian who hosts a call-in radio show about pets, and she gives sharp, funny advice to strangers while doubting her own looks. When Brian (Ben Chaplin), a handsome caller, asks to meet her, she sends her model friend Noelle (Uma Thurman) in her place. Michael Lehmann builds the story on that borrowed identity and on the friendship between the two women, who both end up closer than the lie lets on.
