“D-15 to election, daughter has vanished.”

Kim Jong-chan (Kim Joo-hyuk) is campaigning for office when his daughter So-ra (Choi Yu-hwa) goes missing on the eve of the national elections. His wife, Kim Yeon-hong (Son Ye-jin), starts searching for the girl while the campaign staff work to keep the story from the voters. Lee Kyoung-mi sets the next fifteen days inside that household, where a husband and wife grieve in separate rooms and one of them keeps looking.
