The Turn of the Screw

“The dead are not at rest.”

The film is set in the 1920s, and Ann (Michelle Dockery) tells her story from an institution, in flashbacks, to Dr. Fisher (Dan Stevens). She was hired by an aristocrat to look after the orphans Flora (Eva Sayer) and Miles (Josef Lindsay) at Bly, a country house in Essex. Tim Fywell keeps Ann inside the house and the grounds, where she becomes certain that ghosts are possessing the children and that she is the only one who sees them.
