The TV Set

“A place where dreams are cancelled.”

Nobody can say why the notes keep making Mike Klein's pilot better, only that they do. Mike (David Duchovny) has written a semi-autobiographical sitcom and watches it change in each meeting with Lenny (Sigourney Weaver), a network executive who prefers cheap reality television. Jake Kasdan keeps us in conference rooms and test screenings, and the last picture is Mike, still holding his script, waiting on the other side of a glass wall.
