The Twelve Months

A poor stepdaughter (Lyudmila Kasatkina) only wants to get through the day, but her stepmother sends her into a winter forest to gather snowdrops, a task no one could finish. Deep among the trees she comes upon twelve brothers, who turn out to be the twelve months. Ivan Ivanov-Vano animates the story for Soyuzmultfilm, and the girl's kindness toward the strange company becomes what binds her to them.
