The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story

Sam Kindseth (Dustin Diamond) is one of six unknown young actors cast in a Saturday-morning teen sitcom, and he is the one who ends up telling the story. Jason Lapeyre stages the Bayside High set as a place where kids play adults for the cameras, with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Dylan Everett) as the lead. The film, adapted from Diamond's 2009 book Behind the Bell, is about what it costs to grow up in front of an audience.
