“Nicolas Cage is Nick Cage.”

Nick Cage (Nicolas Cage) is a version of himself, an actor who cannot get the parts he wants and owes more money than he has. He takes a $1 million offer to appear at the birthday of Javi Gutierrez (Pedro Pascal), a wealthy superfan with a very particular love of his movies. Tom Gormican keeps Cage in the middle of it all, and he stays there, watching, still stuck inside the fame he can't shake.
