Robert Curtis (James Ellison) is an inspector called in when a werewolf starts killing at night, and only ever members of one family. The Hammonds, including Helga (Heather Angel) and Oliver (John Howard), have buried relatives to the same attacks for generations, and Curtis has to work out what ties the creature to their name. John Brahm treats the question as one of blood and inheritance, of what a family passes down whether or not anyone wants it.
