The Unforgivable

“No one walks free of their past”

Ruth Slater (Sandra Bullock) is released after twenty years in prison for murder, and the only thing she wants is to find her younger sister. Nora Fingscheidt follows her through a halfway house and a job gutting fish, where nobody she meets will let her forget what she did. Ruth stands in the doorway of a place she no longer belongs, a parole file in her hand.
