The Unscrupulous Ones

Vavá (Daniel Filho) is a spoiled young man who learns his rich father is close to bankruptcy and needs money fast. He calls in his friend Jandir (Jece Valadão) with a scheme to blackmail an uncle by photographing the man's lover, Leda (Norma Bengell). Ruy Guerra lets the three of them circle each other in the haze of the summer heat, Leda unaware that anyone is watching.
