The Usual Suspects

“Five criminals. One line up. No coincidence.”

Five small-time crooks are hauled in for a lineup after a dock robbery goes wrong. Detective Rabin (Chazz Palminteri) pushes them to talk, but their stories keep shifting, each man blaming the others. By the time Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey), the smallest and quietest of them, sits down to confess, you realize the whole interrogation has been a con, and the real architect has been watching from behind the glass the entire time.
