The Valdez Horses

“They took his land... his horses... his woman... but... they couldn't take Chino!”

Chino Valdez (Charles Bronson) breeds horses alone on his land, unwelcome in most places because he is a half-breed, and nobody can say why a runaway boy keeps turning up at his door. Jimmy (Vincent Van Patten) wants only work and a roof, and Chino, against his own habit, lets him stay and teaches him to raise, break and breed the animals. John Sturges lets the two settle into the work, but a man who has lived this long by himself has a lot to lose.
