The Vampire Bat

“These are the TALONS of The Vampire Bat”

In the village of Kleinschloss, people keep turning up dead with wounds in their necks, and the older villagers are certain bats are to blame. Inspector Karl Brettschneider (Melvyn Douglas) doubts it, while Dr. Otto von Niemann (Lionel Atwill) treats the dead and Ruth Bertin (Fay Wray) watches the fear spread. Frank R. Strayer directs it as a Pre-Code horror picture, keeping the mystery close to a small, frightened town.
