“Every second exciting — every second thrilling — every episode sensational”

Philippe Guérande (Édouard Mathé) is a journalist who wants one thing: to stop a criminal organization that spreads chaos and death through Paris while the police stand by helpless. Louis Feuillade spreads the pursuit across ten silent episodes, with Guérande and his friend Mazamette (Marcel Lévesque) trailing the Great Vampire. The two men lean on each other through the long chase, the loyal partner at the reporter's shoulder at every turn.
