“Obsession is the ultimate weapon.”

Jeff Harriman (Kiefer Sutherland) will not stop looking for Diane (Sandra Bullock), his girlfriend, who disappeared without a trace. George Sluizer remakes his own 1988 film, putting Jeff Bridges's Barney Cousins in the frame as the man responsible, close enough to watch the search unfold. Jeff keeps knocking on doors, and Barney keeps watching him do it.
