The Vanishing

“What's left when the light goes out?”

James (Gerard Butler) is a lighthouse keeper posted with two other men to an uninhabited island off the coast of Scotland. Thomas (Peter Mullan) is the older hand, and young Donald (Connor Swindells) is the newest, and the three of them find a chest on the rocks that doesn't belong to them. Kristoffer Nyholm builds it on the 1900 disappearance of the Flannan Isles crew, and the men are left alone with the tower, the sea, and what they chose to keep.
