The Vanishing of Sidney Hall

“It's all about beginnings.”

The story runs across twelve years and three stages of one man's life. Sidney Hall (Logan Lerman) falls in love with Melody (Elle Fanning), then writes the book that defines a generation, and then he is gone without a trace. Shawn Christensen follows a stranger (Kyle Chandler) searching for him, and the film keeps asking how much of a person a book can hold.
