The Verdict

Lars Koch (Florian David Fitz) is a fighter pilot who gave the order to shoot down a hijacked passenger plane before it could reach a crowded football stadium. Now he sits in a Berlin courtroom, facing the prosecutor Nelson (Martina Gedeck) and his own defense lawyer Biegler (Lars Eidinger). Lars Kraume stages the trial as a procedure, and the audience votes on a verdict, so Koch's fate rests with them.
