The Vicious Kind

“How would you protect someone from their first love?”

Caleb Sinclaire (Adam Scott) takes one look at the girlfriend his younger brother Peter (Alex Frost) has brought home for Thanksgiving and decides she can't be trusted. Emma Gainsborough (Brittany Snow) has come to meet the family, and Caleb, bitter and short-tempered, makes it his job to warn Peter off her. Lee Toland Krieger sets the whole thing in one holiday weekend, with Donald (J.K. Simmons) at the table and the mood sliding slowly sideways.
