A man dies in a laboratory accident, and a secret company program brings him back as a cyborg built to destroy anything that comes near him. Jean-Claude Lord retells the Frankenstein story in the 1980s, with Stan Winston's effects making Carl Lehman (David McIlwraith) a thing his own employers now hunt. Lauren Lehman (Teri Austin), his wife, is the one person who might still see Carl in the machine.
