The Violent Four

“These 4 men are on their way to do a day's work. Robbing banks. Killing people!”

A bank robbery in Milan in September 1967 leaves the police with a crew of four they cannot yet put names to. Commissioner Basevi (Tomas Milian) is handed the manhunt, working against Piero Cavallero (Gian Maria Volonté) and his men, among them Sante Notarnicola (Don Backy). Carlo Lizzani builds it like a case file, and Basevi follows the gang the way a man follows a rumor he cannot put down.
