“They weren't born yesterday!”

Comte Godefroy de Montmirail (Jean Reno) is a 12th-century knight, and a wizard's spell gone wrong drops him into 1993 with his servant Jacquouille la Fripouille (Christian Clavier) beside him. Neither man understands cars or anything else around them, and they wreck what they cannot read. Jean-Marie Poiré lets the pair crash through a century that was never built for them, and all Godefroy wants is to get back to 1123.
