The Voice of Hind Rajab

“The voices on the phone are real.”

On January 29, 2024, a call comes in to the Red Crescent dispatch center. A five-year-old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, begging to be rescued, and Omar (Motaz Malhees) and Rana (Saja Kilani) try to keep her on the line. Kaouther Ben Hania builds the film around the real recording of Hind Rajab, and every minute she stays on the phone is a minute an ambulance has to reach her.
