The Walker

“Everyone loves a good scandal.”

Carter Page III (Woody Harrelson) spends his evenings escorting the wives of powerful Washington men to dinners and card games, so the husbands can be elsewhere. One of his regular companions, Lynn Lockner (Kristin Scott Thomas), the wife of a senator, finds her lover dead and pulls him into the investigation that follows. Paul Schrader gives Carter and Lynn a friendship built on small talk and discretion, and it holds weight once the trouble starts.
