The Wall

“Inside everyone lies a truth only the wilderness can reveal.”

A woman (Martina Gedeck) goes up to a friends' hunting lodge in the Austrian Alps and is left alone there for the day. When she walks out to find them, she meets an invisible wall that will not let her through, and on the other side everything has gone still. Julian Pölsler follows her through three years in the mountains with a dog named Lynx, as she learns to keep animals, grow food, and live by the weather.
