The Wandering Earth II

Liu Peiqiang (Wu Jing) is a young astronaut caught up in a project to move the entire planet, with huge engines built across the surface of the earth to carry humanity toward a new home. Frant Gwo sends him and a crowd of other young recruits into a race against time, in a prequel to his 2019 film. Peiqiang's bond with the scientist Tu Hengyu (Andy Lau) is the thread through all of it, two people holding to each other as the engines burn.
