“The War Wagon Rolls And The Screen Explodes!”

Taw Jackson (John Wayne) comes out of prison with a plan against the man who put him there, a rancher whose gold rides in an armored stagecoach known as the war wagon. To take it he hires Lomax (Kirk Douglas), a gunman who may already be working for the other side. Burt Kennedy builds the job out of a handful of partners and one grudge, and Taw is a man who will plan it all out before he lets go of that grudge.
