The Wasp Woman

(1959)Directed by Roger Corman61 minScience Fiction, Horror
“Horror Of The Winged Menace!”

Janice Starlin (Susan Cabot), the head of a cosmetics company, takes injections of an enzyme made from wasp royal jelly, a formula from Dr. Eric Zinthrop (Michael Mark) meant to keep her young. Roger Corman shoots it in black and white on a small budget, with Bill Lane (Anthony Eisley) and Mary Dennison (Barboura Morris) watching from inside the company. Under the fear is the plain idea that her youth is a product she can sell and can lose.
