The Wasteland

A violent creature starts stalking the house of Lucía (Inma Cuesta) and her young son Diego (Asier Flores), who live alone on flat, empty land and want no visitors. It circles their door at night, and nobody can say what it is or where it came from. David Casademunt keeps the film close to the two of them, and what the creature really presses on is the bond between mother and son.
