The Water Horse

“How do you keep a secret this big?”

A strange egg turns up in the hands of Angus MacMorrow (Alex Etel), a lonely boy in Scotland, and what hatches from it is a sea creature out of old legend. He hides it from his mother, Anne (Emily Watson), and from the soldiers stationed nearby under Captain Thomas Hamilton (David Morrissey). Jay Russell builds the film around Angus and the creature he names, a bond that grows as fast as the animal does.
