Corruption in eleventh-century Sung China has grown so thick that a band of mountain bandits, the Honorable 108, has taken a pledge against the brutal overlords. Chang Cheh and Pao Hsueh-Li follow Lu Chun I (Tetsuro Tamba) and the Prodigy, Yen Ching (David Chiang), as both men are drawn toward the outlaws at Liangshan Marsh. The two come from different places, yet each is bound to the other by the same code.
