The Waterboy

“You can mess with him. But don't mess with his water.”

Bobby Boucher (Adam Sandler) is a gentle, mumbling water boy for a struggling college football team, and he lives under the thumb of his mother, Mama Boucher (Kathy Bates). Coach Klein (Henry Winkler) notices that whatever Bobby holds inside comes out as bone-crushing tackles, and he sees a way to get the team into the playoffs. Frank Coraci's film is about a man everyone has underestimated finding out what he can do, and it wants you cheering when he does.
