The Waterdance

“Sometimes, life happens by accident.”

Joel Garcia (Eric Stoltz), a fiction writer, breaks his neck on a hiking trip and wakes in a rehab center with no clear idea of what his body can still do. His new neighbors are Raymond Hill (Wesley Snipes), a ladies' man who exaggerates everything, and Bloss (William Forsythe), a racist biker. Neal Jimenez, writing from his own injury, directs with Michael Steinberg and lets the ward's arguments run as loud as its jokes.
