A Chinese restaurant in Rome is being squeezed by the mafia, who want the property and will not stop until they have it. Chen Ching Hua (Nora Miao) and 'Uncle' Wang (Huang Tsung-Hsun) send for a family friend from Hong Kong, the kung fu expert Tang Lung (Bruce Lee), and Lee directs as well as stars. If he fails, the staff lose the restaurant that is their livelihood, and the men who want it get everything.
