The Wedding Day

A WWII tragedy in a Polish village sits under a wedding held in the same place eighty years later, and nobody at the celebration will name it. Ryszard Wilk (Robert Więckiewicz) is there for the ceremony, while the old man Antoni Wilk (Ryszard Ronczewski) carries the past with him, and Wojtek Smarzowski cuts between the two eras. Antoni sits at the long table among the guests, and his younger self (Mateusz Więcławek) stands behind him in the same room.
