The Wedding Night

Tony Barrett (Gary Cooper) is a married novelist who retreats to his country home in Connecticut to finish a book, and finds himself drawn to Manya Novak (Anna Sten), the daughter of a neighboring farmer. She is engaged to Fredrik Sobieski (Ralph Bellamy), and her father, Mr. Jan Novak (Sig Ruman), will not hear of her breaking it off. King Vidor lets a snowstorm trap the two of them under one roof and sets up a wedding day that no one will be able to take back.
