The Weekend Murders

Barbara Worth (Anna Moffo) comes to her family's English country house for the reading of her father's will, hoping only to be left alone with her grief. She learns he has left everything to her, the favourite daughter, and the relatives around the table take the news badly. Michele Lupo has the butler found stabbed, and Sergeant Thorpe (Gastone Moschin) phones Scotland Yard while a houseful of heirs look at each other and wait.
