The Well Digger's Daughter

Patricia (Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey), eighteen, accepts Félipe's invitation to an aviation show in the south of France only because the pilot she briefly met, Jacques, will be there. Her father Pascal (Daniel Auteuil), the well-digger who thinks of her as a princess, has no idea what she is walking toward. Auteuil, directing for the first time, films the family and its small house with a plain, unhurried eye.
