Waldemar Daninsky (Paul Naschy) is the owner of a castle in the French countryside, and he carries a secret he keeps well away from his guests. Elvira (Gaby Fuchs) and her friend Genevieve arrive looking for the lost tomb of Countess Wandessa, a medieval murderess who may have been a vampire. León Klimovsky follows the women as Waldemar shows Elvira to the crypt, where one careless move brings the countess back, hungrier than ever.
