The Whaler Boy

Lyoshka (Vladimir Onokhov), a 15-year-old Chukchi hunter, has spent his life in a village where nothing reaches him until the Internet does. He falls hard for a silent girl on a video chat, and when he learns she lives in Detroit, he sets out to cross the distance. Philipp Yuryev keeps the focus on Lyoshka's face as it waits for her to appear on the screen.
