The Whip and the Body

“Evil horror!!!”

Kurt Menliff (Christopher Lee), disowned by his father after a servant girl took her own life over their affair, rides back to the family castle to claim his title. Waiting inside is Nevenka (Daliah Lavi), his former fiancée, now married to his brother Cristiano (Tony Kendall). Mario Bava, working under the name John M. Old, keeps the castle's stone halls dim and heavy, and Nevenka stands among them in the half dark.
