The White Crow

(2018)Directed by Ralph Fiennes127 min · RDrama
“To dance you must be free”

Rudolf Nureyev (Oleg Ivenko) is a dancer from a poor Russian family who wants to be the finest in the world, and the ballet of 1950s Leningrad is too small to hold him. Ralph Fiennes follows him from the Kirov Ballet into the wider world, where Western artists and ideas draw him in while the KGB keeps watch. Rudolf is proud and difficult, and he is willing to risk everything he has to dance the way he wants.
